Sinologist and Master of Arts Chris Van Peteghem founded Jade Bridge in 2006 after a stay of more than 6 years in China. His aim is supporting Chinese and Europeans by optimizing their communication. He has extensive experience with intercultural management in the European and Chinese region (Mainland China and Taiwan). During the last decade he worked as a marketing consultant in international and Chinese companies, an organizer of art exhibitions, a foreign web editor, a guide, a sworn interpreter and translator and a language tutor.

Currently main services include interpreting and translating (working languages are Chinese, Dutch and English), organizing Chinese language and culture workshops, guiding Chinese through Belgian cities and Belgians through Chinese cities.
